Ornamentility was born from a brief written by Scott Klinker, Designer-in-Residence and Head of 3D Department at Cranbrook Academy of Art. Ornamentility: X is the interplay of ornament and utility. It looks specifically at the use of the letterform “X” as a symbol of structure.
